Description
A winged figure holds a shield in front of its body. Long wings spread to either side above the decorative rail. A modern circular fitting is visible below the figure.
Heraldry
No charges or colours can be identified on the shield, so a blazon is not possible.
Condition
The figure is worn and the original photograph is hazy, although the wings, head and shield are distinguishable. Enhancement brings out their shapes; apparent feather and facial detail should be treated cautiously.
