Description
A carved and painted half-length figure with a forward-facing head and dark hair. No wings are visible. The figure wears a dark garment and holds a pointed red shield bearing five pale flask- or gourd-shaped charges arranged two, two and one.

Condition
The figure is substantially complete, including the head, hands and shield. The carving retains readable facial and heraldic detail, but the painted surface is faded and abraded. Red survives across much of the shield, while the pale charges are uneven and locally worn. Small holes, scratches, minor cracks and general surface loss are visible throughout.
