A stone corbel with a broad upper section and a tapering front face carrying several carved objects. The most prominent is a short sword or dagger, shown diagonally with a defined blade, crossguard and grip. Below it are a small shield-like shape and a circular disc. A curved, pointed form lies behind the weapon. The objects are recognisable individually to differing degrees, but their combined meaning is uncertain.

Condition

The principal carved shapes remain visible, particularly the weapon and circular disc, although their edges are softened. The surface shows uneven discolouration, pitting and small chips. A larger irregular loss or gap is visible beneath the lower tip of the corbel, with cracks in the surrounding plaster. The photograph does not establish the nature or extent of any earlier repairs.
