Description
A frontal winged angel wearing a dark rounded cap and a blue garment with a red collar. The outspread wings retain traces of red, gold and dark painted feathering. The angel holds a large shield directly in front of the body.

Condition
The figure is comparatively well preserved. The facial features, hands and principal feather forms remain clear, and substantial blue paint survives on the garment. The wings retain useful traces of their original colouring. The shield is considerably abraded, with large losses obscuring the precise form of its central charge.
