Description
Winged angel on the south side of NA4, holding a heraldic shield. The figure has outstretched wings and a frontal head and torso. Painted decoration survives on the figure and shield.
Heraldry
The shield appears to contain several divisions, with horizontal bands and possible animal charges. Wear and loss make the original arrangement uncertain, and no secure blazon or identification can yet be offered.

Condition
The carving appears substantially intact, including the head, torso, wings and shield. Painted decoration survives in several areas, with visible fading, abrasion and loss on the shield and wing feathers.
